| The Imperial City is the capital of Cyrodiil and the whole of the Empire. It is located on City Isle, an island in Lake Rumare in the Nibenay Valley, at the center of the Imperial province, and is circular in shape. In the middle of the circle that is the city is the Green Emperor Way district, containing the Imperial Palace and its White Gold Tower. Surrounding it are six districts, starting from twelve o'clock and going clockwise. Also on the island is the Arcane University, the Imperial Prison and the Waterfront, which is the harbor of the Imperial City. A single bridge connects the island to the mainland near Weye. Roads lead from the capital in all directions.

| Bravil is a squalid town located on the banks of the Niben Bay, south of the Imperial City. The Larsius River passes through and wraps around the town, as the Green Road curves around it.
Bravil is described as one of the poorest towns in Cyrodiil. Houses are built shack-like: wooden and stacked upon each other. The Larsius River that runs through the town serves as Bravil's sewers. Because of its location on the bay's shore and the marshes and swamps that surround it, the climate is damp and smelly. The Lucky Old Lady, a statue that lies in a square east of Bravil's Great Chapel and has been standing since the first era, serves as Bravil's most famous structure and an object of tales on its origin.

| Chorrol is a medium-sized town in northwestern Cyrodiil, between the Great Forest of west Cyrodiil and the Colovian Highlands of the Hammerfell border. Chorrol is divided into five main districts: Fountain Gate, Castle Chorrol, Chapel Street, West District and the Great Oak Place. Situated in the rugged highlands of Colovia, the city's grounds are strewn with large boulders that set the mountainous mood of the city as much as they serve as obstacles to pedestrians. The walls are well-fortified in anticipation against attack, with watchtowers placed at regular intervals along its length. The current ruler of Chorrol is Countess Arriana Valga, widow of the hereditary Count of Chorrol.

| Skingrad is a large town located in the West Weald region, to the southwest of the Imperial City, along the Gold Road. The town divides into three districts: the Castle, Hightown, and Chapel, with various gates and bridges connecting each district. The town is further divided in two parts: the north wall encompasses the business district and the guild halls, while the southern half holds homes and the Great Chapel of Julianos, where citizens and travelers can pray for healing. Outside of town is the castle of Janus Hassildor, count of Skingrad and wizard, who is reportedly a vampire, a fact known to and kept as a secret by the Mages Guild.
The town is particularly famous for its wines, tomatoes, and cheeses, which contributes to its overall prosperity. Famous wine makers in Cyrodiil such as the Surilie brothers and Tamika live in the town.
